Vote on multiple governance actions in February 2026
Introduction
This serves as an aggregate vote for multiple ongoing governance actions. Given pressures on my time, I am not writing a separate extended blog post for each, and my justification is shorter than you may be accustomed to. My apologies.
Vote on DeFi Liquidity Budget - Withdrawal 1
I am voting Abstain on the DeFi Liquidity Budget - Withdrawal 1 with hash 4b10e5793208cb8f228756e02113227c91602248eac4d992681a0ee760b6c4e2#0, due to conflicts of interest as a recipient of funds as a service provider.

Vote to Increase Transaction and Block Memory Units (Part 1 of 2)
I am voting YES on the proposal to Increase Transaction and Block Memory Units (Part 1 of 2) with hash c21b00f90f18fce4003edf42b0b0d455126e01c946e80cc5341a9f9750caf795#0. I am the original proposer of this change, and believe the technical due diligence has demonstrated that there is room for safely raising the memory unit limits several orders of magnitude more than this one.

Vote to Name Protocol Version 11 hard fork - van Rossem
I am voting YES on the proposal to Name Protocol Version 11 hard fork - van Rossem with hash 8845bfc37bb2f69e8f200fe28148b3dea3c4399b0c49ee0ed2bb4e349cab9eb7#0. I did not know Max van Rossem as well as some, as our paths didn’t cross as much as you might have assumed. However, his impact on the foundation of Cardano and it’s governance is impossible to deny, and this continues a worthwile tradition of honoring those in the Cardano community who have recently passed.

Vote on Net Change Limit of 300 Million ADA for Epochs 613-713
I am voting YES on the proposal to set the Net Change Limit of 300 Million ADA for Epochs 613-713 with hash 73a4eb2148781c37ef37c90a33a1d3d00511a8eefe9cdfaa1ea593b090f23f96#0. I believe this represents an aggressive investment in growing our community, while responsibly maintaing the treasury at its current levels.
I will warn, however, that this year I will penalize omnibus proposals more harshly than I did last year. The ability to pick and choose where we invest those funds is critical to that aggressive invesmtnet being worthwhile.

Vote to Reduce minimum Constitutional Committee size (committeeMinSize) from 7 to 5.
I am voting NO on the proposal to Reduce minimum Constitutional Committee size (committeeMinSize) from 7 to 5 with hash dfdac5921ab657241fce58583d61bef59a369e01d2ba78191d6df6632a07fdfd#0. I agree directionally with this change, but it was built without consideration of the memory units proposal, and as such they are mutually exclusive. I value the memory unit increase over the constitutional committee change.
